“My heart is heavy as we mourn the victims of yesterday’s tragic school shooting in Georgia. Our schools should be sanctuaries of learning, not places of fear and violence. We must act decisively to prevent these horrific events from becoming routine. I offer my deepest prayers to the families affected by this senseless act, and I stand firm in my commitment to advocate for comprehensive reforms that protect our children and ensure they are safe in every classroom across America.”
