Civil Court Judge candidate Duane Frankson has officially secured his place on the ballot for the 2025 Democratic Primary in the 7th Municipal Judicial District. In a heartfelt letter addressed to supporters in East New York, Brownsville, Bushwick, and Cypress Hills, Frankson expressed his deep gratitude to the community for helping him reach this milestone.
“We’re on the ballot!” Frankson wrote. “A diverse group of constituents with various concerns listened to our vision of a judiciary built on Hope, Faith and Love and responded by helping us surpass our first challenge; getting on the ballot. It is because of their faith that this milestone is realized and by God’s grace we move forward to the 2025 Democratic Primary in June.”
Frankson acknowledged the collective efforts of volunteers, petition signers, and neighborhood advocates who embraced his campaign and opened their doors to him during the petitioning process. “This milestone could not have been reached without each and every one of you who signed a petition, shared a kind word, and welcomed me into your personal spaces,” he said. “From Brownsville and East New York to Bushwick and Cypress Hills, your encouragement and engagement have meant everything to me.”
Reflecting on the journey so far, Frankson emphasized the power of community dialogue. “During petitioning, I’ve had the honor of connecting with so many of you—listening to your concerns, your hopes, and your dreams for a fairer, more just Brooklyn. I have learned from what you have shared and grown as a candidate. Your voices are what guide this campaign, and I am committed to serving you and reflecting the values that we all hold dear. Justice grounded in Faith, Hope and Love.”
With the primary election approaching, Frankson reminded residents of key dates: early voting begins June 14, and Election Day is June 24. He encouraged continued community engagement, writing, “Please keep us in prayer, spread the word, and encourage your friends, family, and neighbors to stay engaged. Every conversation, every share, and every vote makes a difference for all of us.”
